Position Overview:

We are seeking a high-impact Sales Leader / Director of Business Development to spearhead growth in Digital Transformation Services, with a focus on Digital Commerce and the Manufacturing, Retail, and Logistics (MRL) sectors. The ideal candidate will combine deep industry expertise with a passion for digital innovation and a proven track record of new business acquisition, client engagement, and revenue generation.

This is a unique opportunity to lead go-to-market strategy across high-growth verticals, foster CXO-level relationships, and drive adoption of transformative technologies such as eCommerce platforms, AI, IoT, cloud, supply chain optimization, and automation.


Key Responsibilities:

🔹 Sales Strategy & Market Development

  • Build and execute comprehensive sales strategies targeting Digital Commerce and MRL verticals.
  • Drive new logo acquisition and expand footprint across enterprise clients in manufacturing, retail, logistics, and online commerce.
  • Identify new revenue streams through digital transformation services and tailored solutions.

🔹 Client Acquisition & Relationship Management

  • Develop and manage strong relationships with C-suite executives and key decision-makers.
  • Lead client engagements from lead generation to contract closure, including demos, proposals, and negotiations.

🔹 Industry-Specific Innovation

  • Translate industry-specific pain points (e.g., supply chain disruption, customer experience, operational inefficiencies) into compelling digital solutions.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders (product, delivery, marketing) to build verticalized offerings that align with industry needs.

🔹 Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate across teams to deliver integrated solutions spanning eCommerce, cloud, automation, ERP, and AI.
  • Mentor junior sales team members and contribute to a performance-driven, inclusive team culture.

🔹 Reporting & Market Intelligence

  • Provide accurate sales forecasting, pipeline reporting, and deal status to senior leadership.
  • Stay informed of competitor strategies and emerging trends in Digital Commerce and MRL sectors.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 10+ years in B2B technology sales, with at least 5 years in digital transformation services, including eCommerce or MRL sectors.
  • Domain Knowledge: Deep understanding of Digital Commerce, supply chain, smart manufacturing, logistics, or retail technologies.
  • Track Record: Proven success in hunting new business, closing large enterprise deals, and exceeding revenue targets.
  • Education: Bachelor’s in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, client-facing presentation, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • Tools: Experience with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce), and comfort with tech sales cycles and enterprise architecture discussions.
